Our Mind, The Stickman

by Cory Seidel on June 10, 2011

In our last post, we asked you to think of a family outing. No matter what topic you are asked about, an image immediately flashes in your head. For us to have a true understanding of the mind, and because our thoughts are visual, we must have a clear, vivid image of our mind. The attached image is a seemingly simplistic drawing, yet it is one of the most powerful and important pictures you’ll ever need to help you understand our minds and how we think. Our mentor, Bob Proctor, showed us this image, which was created by Dr. Thurman Fleet. We, in turn, shared it with our children and now would like to do the same with you. Keep in mind that this picture is a tool to release your paradigms and give your children a firm foundation for their future.

The image of the Stickman brings order and understanding to your mind by giving you a picture that you can visualize. Notice the two levels: the Conscious and the Subconscious Minds. This image explains how each level of your mind works together with your body to give you your results in life. Remember, our children are just little human beings who lack life experiences and depend on us to teach them. When we understand our own mind and train it to think in the correct manner as well, we can maximize the infinite power within our children’s magnificent young minds. When you share this image with your children as we did, it teaches them how their thoughts create their reality. By changing their thoughts, they can create the life they desire.

In most cases, all of an individual’s conscious attention focuses on the physical aspect of their lives. We exercise to lose weight, for instance, yet we don’t change our eating habits. What type of an example does this set for our kids? All of our bodily experiences are an expression of our mind. Notice on the drawing that the head of the Stickman is noticeably larger than the body, indicating that our mind, not our body, is dominant over our lives. In order for us to promote productive thoughts in our children, we must have a clear and concise understanding of how our minds work.
